The Municipality of Calheta will promote another Vaccination Campaign for Companion Animals, on the 14th and 21st of September. The initiative includes rabies vaccination, electronic identification, internal deworming, and registration on the Companion Animal Information System (SIAC). The service is free, but registration is mandatory and limited by parish.
Those interested in joining the campaign can make an appointment on weekdays, by contacting 291 820 200.
The initiative will take place, as usual, in the eight parishes, on the following Saturdays:
14th of September:
Ponta do Pargo (09:00 – 10:30 at the Parish Council),
Prazeres (09:00 – 12:30 at the Football Field),
Fajã da Ovelha (11:00 – 12:30 at the Parish Council),
Jardim do Mar (15:00 – 15:30 at the Parish Council),
Paul do Mar (16:00 – 17:00 at the Football Field),
Estreito da Calheta (15:00 – 17:00 at the Parish Council).
21st of September: The vaccination campaign continues in the remaining parishes:
Arco da Calheta (09:00 – 12:00 in the Arco da Calheta Car Park)
Calheta (09:00 – 11:30 in the Parish Council).
Registrants must appear at the scheduled time, accompanied by their pet and the requested documents (Citizen Card/ID, Taxpayer, Vaccination Bulletin of the animal, and proof of address).
