We Are Flying…Perhaps Not Today

The constraints affecting Madeira’s International Airport are creating misery for all concerned, with passengers demonstrating about the lack of information and facilities.

However, this morning another tourist attracted attention by stringing up a hammock between two trees.

Another passenger has also written in concerning the airport chaos, stating that no one has been available to give them any information about their next flight. They have been left stranded at the airport for three days and have only received two €12 meal vouchers in three days. Understandably, they feel they have been imprisoned at the airport.
