Summer Farmers Market

Continuing the implementation of measures to support the dynamisation of municipal markets, the Funchal City Council (CMF), through the Department of Economy, Tourism and Markets, is promoting the 9th Edition of the Summer Market, between the 22nd and 27th of July, at the Farmers Market.

With this initiative, the municipality of Funchal intends to promote commerce and the local economy, boost municipal markets, increase the capacity to attract visitors and potential customers, and boost the development and dissemination of new entrepreneurs and brands, contributing to their growth and visibility.

This edition of the Summer Market will last six days and will take place on the 3rd floor of the Farmers’ Market, in the space dedicated to Fairs and Events, between 09:00 and 18:00, except for the final day, when the market will close at 14:00.

During the initiative, 19 brands will be present: As Marias; Atelier Gatafunhos; Bailha Madeira; By A Fairy; (C) Handmade Soul; Catota BabyandKids; Claúdia Henriques; My Stuff; D’arte Luz; Of this craftsmanship; I esteemed Shop and Atelier; Lina Sousa Atelier; Luna BCN; Living Nature; Niarte.Funchal; Raw Clay Workshop; Praying with Crystals; Patricia Pinto; Recommence Art, highlighting a commitment to sustainability, both social and environmental. “The Municipal Markets remain alive and active, in the daily lives and hearts of Funchal residents and visitors, and traditions continue to pulsate, in a dance of colours and flavors that come to life, intertwining genuine and authentic stories.”
