The Nursing Research Group of the Regional Health Service (SESARAM, EPERAM) participated in the III International Symposium on Innovation, Technology, and Health Games, with the theme “Technology and Gamification Applied to Health,” and have received an honorable mention for their work.
The symposium took place on the 5th of June in an online format, bringing together about 250 participants and 20 oral presentations, including that of the Madeira Group, whose communication focused on the “Technological Solution for Specialised Nursing Care for Persons undergoing Cardiac Surgery.”
The Nursing Research Group comprises nurses Andreia Velosa, Barbara Freitas, Carla Costa, Joana Escorcio, and Sílvia Ornelas.
It should be noted that the dynamisation of nursing research is among the objectives of the 2022-2025 Strategic Plan of the Nursing Directorate of SESARAM, with a view to continuous improvements in the provision of health care to users and the optimisation of the environment and work of professionals.
