The JPP has put an end to the Regional Governments Budgetry Programme hopes, and has joined sides with the PS-Madeira and Chega and voted against the proposal, creating a parliamentary majority that promises to bring down the newly elected government.
If this is confirmed, then on Thursday, Ireneu Barreto will listen to the parties again. However, no new elections will take place until the end of January 2025.
