Recently, someone placed a graffiti in the hotel area on the Lido Ramp „Rampa do Lido“ (leading, by the way, up to a very good Indian restaurant).
The City Hall service cannot have eyes everywhere, so we used “Funchal Alerta” (https://funchalalerta.funchal.pt/) to inform the city about the „artwork“. The platform offers an easy way for any citizen to inform the City Hall about problems, such as broken streetlights, potholes and other problems in the public areas.
Two days later, it had been painted over.
Graffiti has no chance in Funchal, the city stays clean!
