Sexually Transmitted Diseases on the Increase

The increase in the number of cases of sexually transmitted diseases in 19 -30-year-olds is generating concern among the island’s doctors.

Ana Paula Reis, Director of SESARAM’s Infectious Diseases Service, recognises the need to adopt immediate and urgent measures to control infections such as syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia.
