The Arts Marathon, organised by the Conservatory – Professional School of the Arts of Madeira, Eng. Luiz Peter Clode, is back in the capital of Madeira on Saturday the 16th of March. The initiative comprises a dozen artistic presentations held in nine different locations throughout the city of Funchal, between 10 am and 8 pm.
Music, theatre, circus arts, and visual arts make up a programme with hourly shows, including for the first time, Artes Plásticas, in Praça Amarela.
The programme, which closes with a show by the Conservatory’s Jazz Orchestra and Combo, in front of the CMF building, was presented this morning in the CMF’s Noble Hall, by the president of the Conservatory, Carlos Gonçalves, and the president of the CMF, Cristina Pedra, with the Atlantic Nymphs performing at the opening and closing of the presentation.
