A young 17-year-old Indian tourist was rescued today, after hurting his leg in a fall while walking along Ponta de São Lourenço.
Due to the location of the accident, SANAS operatives were called out to head up the rescue mission. After immediate first aid was administered, the young man was transported to Quinta da Lorde and then taken by the Municipal Firefighters of Machico to a local medical centre.
