An earthquake registering 3.6 on the Richter scale was recorded this morning in the archipelago of Madeira at 08:26. The epicentre was located in the ‘Madeira Tore’ area between Madeira and the mainland.
Due to its location, it is believed that the earthquake would not have been felt, states a source from the Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea.
