On the 15th of February, as part of the International Day of Children with Cancer, the Madeira Regional Nucleus of the Portuguese League Against Cancer will hold the Lecture ‘Children and Cancer: a Compassionate and Informative Look,’ that will be held at FNAC Madeira at 18:30.
In a press statement, the organisers said:
“With this day it is intended to educate the general public about cancer in children, and promote the work of entities and organisations that work in this area.”
International Children with Cancer Day was created in 2002 by Childhood Cancer International, who aim to help children suffering from cancer to access better treatments and medicines, as well as providing support to families and friends.”
