The move from La Vie shopping centre to Plaza Madeira was carried out at an official brand launch ceremony that took place at 11:00 this morning.
The goal will be to increase the potential of this space as a place for shopping and leisure, said Vítor Rodrigues, director of the mall.
Francisco Cavaleiro Ferreira, General Director of the Multi Corporation Iberia group, highlighted the importance of this asset in the Region and for the business group.
“It is a unique opportunity to launch a new concept, differentiating from what is done in Madeira,” he said, pointing out the excellent location of the now Plaza Madeira.
Plaza Madeira received “a significant investment in the modernization and remodeling of the shopping center, making it more comfortable. Further enhancement work will be carried out to place the shopping centre at the high end of the market in terms of shops and facilities.”
“We are going to use the knowledge we have of the national and international sector to increase the value of this shopping centre, differentiating it from the competition through the use of ‘Anchor stores.’
