A motorcycle crash in the Ribeira Grande tunnel left two tourists injured this afternoon.
The Municipal Firefighters of Machico, EMIR, and an ambulance were called to the scene to assist the victims, whose age and nationality could not be ascertained. It is only known that they are a couple, namely a woman and a man.
Unfortunately, the woman suffered multiple injuries and was immediately transported to hospital, along with her companion, although his injuries were less serious.
