The next supermoon or blue supermoon, the second of August, will emerge tonight and is expected to be the largest and brightest of 2023, especially as it will appear blue. According to NASA, this rare phenomenon will not happen again until 2037.
The moon’s orbit is approximately 357,344 kilometers away from Earth and will reach its peak in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
