A man in his 30s was seriously injured with second and third-degree burns yesterday afternoon in Caniçal. The injuries followed an argument with another man, where the victim was assaulted, doused in petrol, and set on fire.
Last night the man was admitted into the Intensive Care Unit of the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital with severe burns to his abdomen, chest, upper limbs, and head.
