The Municipality of Funchal, in partnership with the Commercial and Industrial Association of Funchal – Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madeira (ACIF), will launch the “Funchal in Flower” Window Contest, which aims to boost local commerce and stimulate economic activity, by encouraging the decoration of windows and/or facades, rewarding the best spring season related decorations.
The contest, alluding to the theme of the Flower Festival, is directed to all commercial establishments located in the Municipality of Funchal that are interested in participating. To enter, please complete the online application form available at www.funchal.pt. Entries close on the 25th of April.
There are five main prizes and a single sustainability prize for the best use of sustainable, recyclable, and/or reusable materials.
The prizes are:
1st prize: 1000€;
2nd prize: 800€;
3rd prize: 600€;
4th prize: 400€;
5th prize: 200€;
Sustainable Showcase Prize: 500€.
