The Judiciary Police, through the Department of Criminal Investigation of Madeira, detained and arrested a young man aged 19 years old for the attempted murder of a 26-year-old.
According to a statement from the Judicial Police (PJ), the event occurred on the 19th of September 2022 in the city of Funchal, where the accused repeatedly stabbed another person. As a result, the victim suffered life threatening knife wounds.
In their statement, the PJ confirmed that they were able to gain enough evidence to allow for the identification of the aggressor and carry out an arrest.
