Although a boon to the island, the filming of Star Wars – The Acolyte has prevented many visitors from visiting Ponta de São Lourenço. As such, many visitors chose to visit the Ponta do Rosto viewpoint, in Caniçal, which overlooks the north coast of Madeira.
