Carlos Nogueira Fino, Professor Emeritus of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Madeira (UMa) and responsible for Pedagogical Innovation research at the UMa Education Research Centre, has published an e-book titled “Interview with ChatGPT: what a chatbot under construction “knows” of education, curriculum, and pedagogical innovation.”
The e-book was published in February 2023 and is the result of the professor’s long “conversations” about education, curriculum, and pedagogical innovation, with an artificial intelligence entity created by OpenAI, called ChatGPT. According to the author, ChatGPT revealed remarkable fluency concerning the subject, as well as expressing itself well in Portuguese.
As such, Carlos Nogueira Fino believes that it has been demonstrated how artificial intelligence entities can already be powerful learning tools.
The e-book “Interview with ChatGPT: what a chatbot in construction “knows” of education, curriculum, and pedagogical innovation” is available for free in both PDF and eEPUB formats.
