A mentally disturbed homeless man was removed from the Municipal Garden, Funchal, by the Public Security Police this morning, after receiving reports that the man, who was believed to be affected by either drugs or alcohol was intimidating those who were using the park.
Local firefighters provided assistance, and the man was taken to the Dr Nélio Mendonça hospital.
