Tomorrow, the 26th of November, the Municipality of Câmara de Lobos, in partnership with the Association of Friends of the Arts – Metaphora Theatre and the Cultural Association – Empire of the Island, will hold a second-hand clothes fair titled “Circular & Sustainable Textiles, rubbish into fashion!”
The event, which is part of European Waste Prevention Week, will take place at the Câmara de Lobos Municipal Market. The event starts at 19:00 and blends clothing and entertainment.
– 19h00 – Second hand Clothing Fair;
– 20h00 – Acoustic Concert: Carolina Silva ft. Miguel Apollinarário
– 21h00 – Vintage Fashion Show.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the project said:
The realisation of this initiative was only possible due to the municipality’s numerous municipalities, who answered the call to help and created two clothing collection points. One at the Metaphora Theatre Association (Islet) and the Império Da Ilha Association.”
