Hotel ‘Casa Velha do Palheiro’, which originally opened its doors 25 years ago, marks another anniversary on the 16th of September, where their renovation project titled ‘Casa Mãe’ will be showcased.
This 5-star hotel operated by Relais & Châteaux is part of the Palheiro Nature Estate which dates back to 1801. To celebrate the 25th anniversary, the main house was completely renovated in terms of design, keeping the country house spirit combined with contemporary classic designed rooms, which contain all the facilities that the modern traveller expects today.
Architect James Ward, from the firm James Ward Architects, was responsible for the renovation project, with Andreia Sousa Pinto creating an inspiring decoration design for the hotel.
