President of Madeira Visits Porto Santo Riding Centre

The president of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque, visited the recently remodified Porto Santo Equestrian Centre this morning. 

During his visit the President said that the conditions are ideal for horse riding, confirming that the rehabilitation of the centre has cost in the region of 365 thousand euros. 

“The riding arenas are in excellent condition, while the entire infrastructure is functional and modernised, including creating a water distribution network to ensure the horses have enough water.” he then went on to say that “one of the main objectives, was to turn the centre into a viable riding/trekking school with adequate arenas for lessons.  

Concluding, Miguel Albuquerque announced that the the riding school has all the facilities to become a quality equestrian centre for all equestrians and visitors to the island.
