The Regional Secretary of Health, Pedro Ramos, confirmed today that 20 Monkeypox vaccines arrived in Madeira last Thursday, 21st of July.
Currently, Madeira has three confirmed cases of Monkeypox, while Portugal has registered that a further 580 people are infected with the virus.
The World Health Organisation (WHO), has declared Monkeypox a global emergency, given the extent of the outbreak in more than 70 countries.
