It was chaos this morning, when Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) cards refused to work. Reports from customers stated that they were unable to pay for goods and services using their CGD cards, or make any ATM cash withdrawals.
Information also suggested that people were having problems with their ‘Caixadireta’ service.
