Public Tender Open For Porto Santo Equestrian Centre

Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Porto Santo, SA has opened a public tender for the conclusion of a contract for the ‘Concession for the Operation of a Commercial Space for Restoration in the Equestrian Centre of Porto Santo,’ under the terms and conditions contained in the procedural documents and better described in the Notebook of Charges.

The contract will have an execution period of 5 years, and may be renewed annually, if the parties so wish, up to a maximum of 5 renewals, making a maximum contractual execution period of 10 years.

The base value of the procedure is €55,400.00 (fifty-five thousand, four hundred euros), plus VAT at the legal rate in force, which corresponds to a monthly base value of €1,300.00 (one thousand three hundred euros) plus VAT at the legal rate in force, for the months from June to September and €800.00 (eight hundred euros) plus VAT at the legal rate in force, for the months from October to May.

The contractor must provide a security in an amount corresponding to 2% of the contractual value.

The first payment will be due as of the third month from the date of award of the contract and will refer to the month in progress.

The tender documents are available for consultation on the website www.sociedadesdesenvolvimento.com and at Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Porto Santo SA, at the Centro Cultural e de Congressos do Porto Santo and office at Avenida Zarco, Regional Government Building, 3rd. Andar, 9004 527, Funchal. The supply of tender pieces, submission of requests for participation and submission of proposals will be through the electronic platform https://www.acingov.pt .

Proposals must be submitted by 11:59 pm on the 14th of July, 2022.

“The Porto Santo Development Society carried out rehabilitation works throughout the Equestrian Centre development, including significant improvements in the restaurant space, with emphasis on the dining room overlooking the interior arena, where it will be possible to enjoy a good meal while watching the riding lessons,” explains the president of the Society, Nivalda Gonçalves, also stressing that “rehabilitations were also carried out in the kitchen, bar and bathroom areas, in order to offer the best conditions for the exercise of the restaurant activity” and that that space will become “a new centrality of Porto Santo.”
