Teacher Threatened By Bomb Attack, Promoted

Today, a teacher, who had already been the subject of abuse, violence and a bomb threat has been elected as the Director of the Basic School of the 1st cycle, with preschool and day care in São Vicente.
On the 9th of April, the teacher found a bomb under her car.  Naturally, after the incident she spent  some time away from the island to assess the situation, and how the threats would or could affect her family life.  However, after a period of reflection, she declared that she would not be cowed by such cowardly attacks and would resume teaching.
The bomb found under her car was a homemade device, which if activated would have set fire to her vehicle.  The Judicial Police (PJ) are still investigating the situation.
This was not the first attempt, as both herself and friends have been threatened several times.
