Despite favourable figures, today’s hospitalisation bulletin from SESARAM, notes a sharp increase in the number of hospitalisations in the last 24 hours. There were 12 more admissions than yesterday, however, there are currently no patients in the Covid-19 ICU unit.
Furthermore, there have been no Covid-19 related deaths in the region for 24 hours, with the current total standing at 285.
With regard to age groups, it should be noted that the majority of patients are over 65 years old (46), with 10 aged between 18 and 65 years-old, and only one child/young adult.
