A man, in his 50s, fell approximately 10 metres at around 04:00 this morning in São Gonçalo.
The man, who was allegedly working, fell into an uninhabited house, and wasn’t discovered until a bus passenger heard his cries for help. A team from the Portuguese Red Cross was promptly called out to rescue the man who was then transported to A & E with serious injuries.
The PSP were also called out to investigate the situation.
