Due to the Pandemic, the mainland Government decided to not allow Saldos (Sales campaigns) which usually take place from Dec 25 to Jan 9. The idea is to is to avoid having too many customers in the shops. Our government decided to allow the sales to take place, in order so that the shops can improve their sales figures. Many bigger shops and franchises however, decided not to go ahead with the campaign, as this would not be profitable if it were to go only ahead in Madeira Island. Many shops will have their “Saldos” offers on line.
