Medical Emergency Forces AidaMar Back to Port

It could be said that history was repeating itself, when the AidaMar had to return back to port today.  Having left Funchal harbour at 05.30 this morning for Malaga, the ship had to about turn five hours later after a 85-year-old woman fell, and was thought to have broken her forearm, thus needing immediate medical attention.
This is the second time in a week that the ship has had to turn back due to a medical emergency. The first of which took place on its maiden voyage into Madeiran waters. On leaving Madeira for Tenerife the ship had to return back due to an undisclosed medical situation.
