A fight broke out between husband and wife yesterday afternoon at their home in Quinta Grande.
It is believed that the wife took a scythe to her husband, cutting his nose and ear. The Câmara de Lobos Volunteer Firefighters were called to the scene, and the man was transported to hospital by ambulance. At the same time, the wife began to feel unwell and she was also taken to hospital.
The Public Security Police were called to the scene to take care of the incident.
