“Despite my efforts, I was not successful.”
He also confirmed that he was leaving the Legislative Assembly of Madeira.
His resignation was received with mixed emotions. Some say it was an intelligent move, others believe that he is a shooting star in Madeiran politics, while one commentator wondered if it will only be “Cafôfo who falls, or whether this will have a knock on effect to those who considered themselves mentors of the PS-M.”
