Members of the Funchal Lifeguard Station assisted three crew members of a British-flagged sailboat yesterday.
The distress call was received at 13:49, when a crew member stated that the sailboat was taking on water.

Once on board, officers found that all the crew members were doing well, and helped resolve the situation.
