Between the 13th and 17th of September, Horários do Funchal will have a temporary service kiosk on the second floor of the La Vie Shopping Centre, which is open from 10:00 and 14:00 and between 15:00 and 18:00.
The initiative is part of the company’s testing innovative project “GIRO em Casa” whose objective is, in the future, to allow anyone interested in purchasing a GIRO card to apply online through the company website, and receive their new card, free from delivery costs within five working days at their house.
The cards, which are renewable can be charged with either the appropriate pass profile or pre-purchased trips at any of the Horários do Funchal service points, vending machines, and Payshop outlets.
During this week, GIRO cards can be requested at the stand, upon presentation of the necessary documentation, and again these will be sent in the general mail. Any further questions or queries about the company’s services can also be discussed at the service kiosk.
