The Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea (IPMA) has placed the south coast and mountainous regions of Madeira under a yellow weather warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms on Sunday the 12th of September. The warning comes into effect from midnight until 15:00.
Porto Santo will also be affected by both rain and thunder.
