A hit and run incident occurred on Tuesday night, seriously injuring a motorcyclist.
Unfortunately, the motorist fled the scene after the collision, which took place on the Via Rapida (VR1).
The full details of the accident still remain unknown, as do the personal details of the motorcyclist. All that local newspaper JM could glean from a hospital source, is that the man is in his 50’s and polytraumatised (more than one severe injury). However, he is now said to be out of danger.
As a result of the accident, the Public Security Police (PSP), set up a ‘driver hunt,’ and luckily the motorist gave himself up to the authorities later than night.
