As one paper put it, an alcohol raddled 20-year-old boy, belonging to a group of British tourists who arrived in Madeira on Sunday, ended up in hospital.
The injuries occurred following an fall in Estrada Monumental, when the drunk youth decided to do something stupid, which went wrong! The boy suffered head injuries, as well as several abrasions to his face and lower limbs, and was transported immediately to the Dr Nélio Mendonça Hospital A & E department by the Portuguese Red Cross.
