ARM – Águas e Resíduos da Madeira, SA, has issued a statement detailing the changes in their collection service over the next two public holidays (3rd and 10th of June) in Câmara de Lobos, Machico, Porto Santo, Ribeira Brava and Santana.
The revised schedules are:-
Machico:
The selective collection of paper/cardboard (blue ecopoint) and plastic and metallic packaging (yellow ecopoint), usually collected on Thursdays (June 3rd and 10th), will now take place on Wednesday the 2nd and 9th of June.
Santana:
The collection of undifferentiated waste (normal household rubbish), which is usually collected on Thursdays, will be collected on the 2nd and 9th of June.
Ribeira Brava:
The selective collection of paper/cardboard (blue ecopoint), on Thursdays (June 3rd and 10th), will now take place on Wednesday the 2nd and 9th of June.
Porto Santo:
The Thursday selective collection of paper/cardboard (blue ecopoint), will now take place, starting at 08:00 on Wednesday the 2nd and 9th of June. This also applies to the collection of plastic/metallic packaging (yellow ecopoint), except that the collection will start from 13:00.
