Cecília Zino Foundation Photographic Exhibition

The Cecília Zino Foundation celebrated its 60th anniversary by holding a photographic exhibition by students from Campanário  EB23 Cónego João Jacinto Gonçalves de Andrade school at the foundations headquarters at Rua do Bettencourt, Funchal.

The exhibition, which comprised of several photographs, is part of a multidisciplinary project created by the foundation, ‘O Sol Marca a Sombra.’  The opening of the exhibition was attended by the Regional Secretary of Education, Jorge Carvalho, who praised the work and the ‘constructive spirit’ of the foundation, which is dedicated to various areas of social integration, and the partnerships the foundation has with the regions schools.

Concluding he said that attending the exhibition was an excellent way to celebrate World Children’s Day,  and that it is important to introduce children and young people to the principles of solidarity and culture.
