The President of the Legislative Assembly of Madeira, José Manuel Rodrigues, held an meeting with the director of TáxisRAM – Association of Taxis today.
During the meeting, Paulo Pereira, president of TáxisRAM, asked for the support of the Madeiran parliament to enable the modernisation of the taxi sector, which is part of a innovation project already being planned in partnership with the Regional Secretary for Tourism and Culture, to ensure that Madeiran taxi drivers have the same opportunities as their European colleagues. Furthermore, TáxisRAM is closely working with the Secretary for the Economy with regards to changes in tariffs and additional charges.
