Speaking on behalf of Porto Santo’s health authority, doctor Rogério Correia, estimates that by the summer, 50 percent of the island’s population will have been vaccinated. Furthermore, he believes that once the 50% benchmark has been reached, and obviously with greater access to vaccines, the numbers will steadily arise, allowing for greater immunity within the population.
Good news for Porto Santo.
