A dog was found lost, scared and thirsty in Estrada do Jardim de Cima, Campanário this evening.
Once rescued, the young animal was taken to the Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol fire station, where firefighters are are waiting for the dogs owners to come forward and take it home, or for someone to adopt it. Although they describe the dog as young, they do not specify if it is male or female.
Due to its distinctive eye colouring, the fire brigade ask if anyone knows who the dog belongs to or would like to provide it with a kind loving home, to contact them on 291 942 288.
