The Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa today thanked health professionals from the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital for all their hard work and dedication towards the three mainland Covid-19 patients who were flown to Madeira on the 29th of January.
Unfortunately, one patient died on the 9th of February.
The last patients # COVID19 transferred to #Madeira , were discharged to the continent , where they spent a month at Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça. I am grateful to @GovernoMadeira and all the efforts of the health professionals who accompanied them during the recovery process.
