Deaths: 3 (Two 87-year-olds and one 88-year-old woman; all of whom had underlying health issues). Total 54 to date.
At the moment, there are 1,799 active cases, of which 71 are imported cases and 1,728 are from local transmissions. There are currently 61 people hospitalised at the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital (54 people in Multipurpose Units and 7 in the Covid-19 Intensive Care Unit). Forty-two people are in isolation in a dedicated hotel unit, and the rest are in quarantine at home.
The three Covid-19 patients that arrived last weekend from the mainland (Lisbon and Tagus Valley) are still in intensive care.
Health authorities are currently studying 260 potential new cases, which have been reported to the SRS24 line or to SESARAM, EPERAM.
