As with all crisis’s, the pandemic has created tragedy, random acts of vandalism, and more often than not, gestures of kindness that make a difference. Lombadinha’s bakery and snack bar, in Gaula, has made a difference to those in need. And sometimes, it is small gestures, such as putting out a box filled with bags of fresh bread, that can make all the difference to those trying to feed themselves and their families.
Advertising the fact on their social media networks, the owners of the bakery wrote, “if you know of someone in need, or are in need we have a box filled with fresh bread at the bakery entrance, please help yourself. It is our gift to you.”
