João Severino Pereira Marques, aged 53, disappeared this morning from his home in Quinta Grande, in the municipality of Câmara de Lobos.
The family, who are obviously worried about him have said that he is suffering from severe depression and have asked everyone to help them find him. In a statement, his wife said “My husband has had Covid-19, and was very ill. He was hospitalised, and is suffering from depression as a result of the virus. So much so, that he has been unable to speak.”
João’s wife last saw him at 10:30 pm last night, but it is believed that he left home after 07:30 this morning. He is said to be wearing brown pajama pants, a green t-shirt with letters on the chest and blue sneakers.
