In a statement, the municipality of Santa Cruz has warned that scammers, who are phoning individuals while pertaining to be be health workers, are asking people to attend a PCR test at a mobile testing unit (van) supposedly parked next to the Faias Football field, in Achada de Gaula.
After several complaints from citizens to the health authority, the municipality advises residents to be careful, to report any incidents, as, as yet they are unable to find out who is behind and the purpose of these phone calls, and to not go to the location mentioned.
