The President of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque says that there is no need to impose an inter municipality travel ban during Halloween on the 31st of October, and All Saints Day on the 1st of November.
He went on to say that the Regional law decree on mandatory mask wearing is being prepared, which will be discussed at ALRAM next week.
As for tourists, there is a meeting this afternoon between hoteliers and the Regional Government to streamline the process of sending Covid positive tourists to the designated hotel units.
