José Arlindo Andrade, the man who went missing yesterday, after having escaped from the hospital where he was scheduled to undergo a stomach operation, was found last night, apparently in good health, in the Lazareto area, in Funchal, by an off duty firefighter, who had seen his photograph in local newspaper, JM News.
According to his family, José has been checked over by health professionals and is now at home in Camacha. His stomach operation which was scheduled for the 4th of October has now been postponed, as he is under medication at the moment.
